From February 3–4, Nixor participated in the international Future Hospitality & Tourism Forum 2026, held at the Hilton Tallinn Park. We were there to showcase our comprehensive technology solution for the hospitality sector and demonstrate how integrated systems create a stable and reliable operating environment.
In the hospitality sector, reliability means that payments run without interruption, the POS system does not slow down service, information is always up to date, and all devices communicate seamlessly with each other. When technology works smoothly in the background, the team can focus on the guest. Delivering this kind of integrated and well-designed solution was our main focus at the forum.
At the forum, we showcased solutions that form a cohesive whole, from the service counter to back-end systems.
Discussions and meetings with industry professionals confirmed that these same technology areas play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of hospitality businesses. We highlight the key areas and their role in everyday operations.
POS Systems and Checkout Solutions
The POS system is one of the most important technological pillars of a hospitality business. The final impression of the customer experience is often formed at the service counter, where it becomes clear how well processes, people, and technology work together. Any delay or inaccuracy directly impacts service speed, team efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
In the hospitality sector, a POS solution is more than just a sales channel. It is a central business platform that connects sales, inventory, pricing, promotions, and reporting into one cohesive system. The system must ensure that every transaction flows correctly through the entire process and that data is available in real time to both frontline staff and management. Only then can operations be effective and decisions based on accurate information.
Nixor’s approach is based on a comprehensive solution where hardware, software, and experienced specialists form a unified and efficient environment. We use reliable POS solutions, including Toshiba hardware, designed for intensive use and supporting a smooth service process. All components are thoughtfully integrated and aligned with business processes. The result is a stable and scalable environment that performs seamlessly both in everyday use and under higher workloads.
Guests don’t remember systems, they remember the experience. That’s why we focus on solutions that support service seamlessly in the background while creating clear and measurable value for the business.
Payment Solutions and Terminals

A payment solution is a natural part of the daily operations of a hospitality business. It must operate reliably, support a wide range of payment methods, and integrate seamlessly into existing workflows without adding unnecessary complexity.
In the hospitality sector, the payment process directly impacts the speed and smoothness of service. If a payment takes too long or requires additional steps from the staff, queues start to form and the customer experience suffers. For this reason, a payment solution is not just a technical component, but an integral part of the overall service process.
An integrated solution, where the POS system and payment terminal operate as a unified whole, reduces the risk of errors and speeds up service. The payment amount is transferred automatically between systems, allowing staff to focus on the customer rather than technical tasks.
Nixor’s payment solution is based on Android-powered terminals from PAX Technology and NixPay software, enabling seamless integration with POS systems and supporting all common payment methods, from card payments to mobile payments. The solution is designed to meet international standards and to operate reliably even under high demand.
It is important that the payment solution does not become a bottleneck in the service process. A well-functioning system remains invisible to the customer, yet directly impacts service speed, team efficiency, and the overall guest experience.
Scanning Solutions and Data Accuracy
In the hospitality sector, speed and accuracy play a crucial role in daily service operations. Information related to products, orders, and customers must move correctly and without delay between systems. Every manually entered data point increases the risk of errors and slows down the workflow.
Scanning solutions help reduce these risks by enabling fast and accurate data entry. Whether it is product registration, ticket validation, coupon usage, or loyalty programs, automated data processing supports smooth service throughout the entire customer journey.
As part of Nixor’s comprehensive solution, we use scanning and data capture solutions from Datalogic, designed for reliable use across various service environments. The devices can read both printed and mobile codes and are suited for service counters, self-service solutions, and mobile workflows.
The result is a faster and more accurate workflow, where data moves automatically between systems and staff can focus on the guest. Fewer errors and a smoother workflow directly improve both team efficiency and the overall guest experience.
Digital Signage and Real-Time Information
In the hospitality sector, it is essential that information is always up to date, clear, and consistent across all touchpoints. Prices, menus, and promotions must be accurate at the service counter, in the dining area, and in all other customer-facing environments.
Digital signage enables centralized management of pricing and other key information, delivering it directly from the system to the service environment without manual intervention. Updates are applied in real time, reducing the risk of errors and ensuring that information is always aligned across systems.
As part of Nixor’s end-to-end solution, we use digital signage from SOLUM to create a consistent and reliable flow of information across the entire service environment. The solution is well suited for restaurants, hotels, and self-service applications, where information needs to be clearly presented and quickly updated.
In practice, this means that in buffets and restaurants, paper menus can be replaced with digital solutions that display dish descriptions and allergen information, while pricing is updated automatically. Promotions, such as daily specials or time-based offers, are triggered automatically at the right time without manual intervention.
In a hotel environment, digital signage also supports broader management of spaces and information. Conference room displays show schedules and bookings, while digital door signs and wayfinding solutions help guests navigate more easily. In reception and common areas, both general information and personalized welcome messages can be presented.
The result is less manual work, better control over information, and more time for service. Consistent and up-to-date information supports smooth operations and contributes to a better guest experience.
The Role of End-to-End Solutions in the Hospitality Sector
Future Hospitality & Tourism Forum 2026 clearly showed that the hospitality sector is increasingly moving towards integrated and automated solutions. Companies that can bring their technology systems together into a single, cohesive whole achieve greater efficiency, an improved customer experience, and a stronger competitive advantage.
Nixor’s goal is to provide exactly these kinds of solutions – reliable, scalable systems that truly support business operations.
